FC 2020 has grown from a handful of children to 40 members and 5 mentors. The team is not only learning how to play soccer, but are trained in life skills to enhance their opportunities in the future.

Please join Splendors of Africa as we make a difference in a child's life. You can sponsor a child at any of the levels above.

You can also make a general donation to take care of other needs within FC 2020 such as shipping donated items to Kenya, providing transportation to various competitions, providing first aid kits and providing nutritious meals, especially for those children who may not have had any meal on the days of soccer practise and competitions.

Our goal is to collect $6000.00 to cover the needs of FC 2020 in 2017. Any monies collected above the goal will be used to support other youth soccer teams in different regions of the country.

You may also contact us to see how you or your club/organization can donate new or gently used uniforms and sports equipment to Splendors of Africa, and together, we can make a difference in communities.

Kindly get in touch with our organization to make a contribution by either donating your time or charitable gift.

We are a registered 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Your financial gifts to us are tax-deductible.

Mentors, Coach and Team Captains are proud of their hard work. They need our support to make this program a success.

Splendors of Africa has adopted FC 2020, a Soccer Team serving disadvantaged children between the ages of 5-18 years old in Karatina, a rural town in Kenya.  The focus is to provide uniforms for the team and training for the mentors so they can better serve the children. It is our desire to help provide nutritional meals as most of the children may not have eaten any food prior to the team meetings, practice and even during competitions.

African Girls Rock! Below is a picture of young girls who are members of FC 2020.

Since FC 2020 children cannot afford personal uniforms, the mentors have purchased used unforms and provide them to the members during practice and competitions. The photo shows a group of children looking through unforms to wear during a regional competition in February, 2016 where 8 teams were represented. FC2020 won the tournament. It is Splendors of Africa's desire to provide the children with new uniforms. We are looking for apparell unform partners and individual donors who would love to make a difference.

FC 2020 ready to get into the soccer field for the first competion this year. Their uniforms are mismatched and some of the children could not find a shoe size in the team uniform collection and therefore had to play in sandles or formal leather shoes.
